Remote Satellite Data Interface RST600
The RST600 is a very simple low end modem interface for accessing the Iridium Satellite Network.

Modem Compatibility
The RST600 emulates the functionality of a Hayes compatible modem. It provides a socket for the subscriber to connect a conventional serial RS232 device.

The Beam Remote Satellite Interface provides remote environments with data / SCADA telecommunications access via the Iridium Satellite Network.

Connectivity
The RST600 presents a DB9 serial data socket to the user. The RST600 is supplied with a 4.4V AC power supply. An optional 11-32VDC-4.4VDC power supply is an optional extra, RST994.

Installation
The RST600 is easily installed using the supplied cable assembly enabling easy connectivity to the DB9 serial connector and DC inputs. Mounting Bracket also included in kit.

Alert / Tracking
The RST610 enables the connection of the Beam TrackALERT interface to support tracking, monitoring, or remote telemetry applications. The TrackALERT interface is available with or without an inbuilt GPS receiver for flexible installation options.
